Inspired by aristocratic aesthetics and including the initials of its owner, this design needed to fit two things: "Coquette" and "Peony flowers". I decided to go for something that would give a bourgeoisie and an aristocracy feeling. Surrounded by a frills border evoking an elegant setting, two different varieties of peony flowers are engraved on top of it. Finally, the colors are meant to highlights the ornaments and gently color the flowers with several shades of pink. The natural color of the leather will give an effect of lightness to the final engraving and the pastel pink leather of the inside will perfectly match the peony flowers of the cover!
